Growth for brands

Agency-level growth, without the agency retainer.

The Shasta Growth Program gives DTC brands the strategy, playbooks and senior reviews of a full growth team, in a program you run with us and a community of founders, for a fraction of what an agency costs.

Who it’s for

Brands with a product people love, and room to grow.

If you’ve proven people want what you make, the next step is a system that finds more of them, on purpose.

Founder-led DTC brands

You have a product people love and real sales. You’re ready to grow on purpose, not by luck.

Makers on the Shasta shelf

Verified products deserve marketing that matches. Honest claims, told well, sell for longer.

Small teams doing it themselves

You or a couple of people run ads, email and content. You need a playbook, not more tabs open.

Brands priced out of agencies

You need agency thinking, but a full retainer and a spend minimum don’t fit where you are yet.

The gap

Too big for guesswork. Too early for an agency.

Most growing brands sit in the same gap: past doing it by feel, not yet at the size where a full agency makes sense. Here’s where growth usually stalls.

01

Agencies are priced for scale

Full-service retainers, plus a spend minimum, before a single ad runs. Most growing brands can’t start there.

02

Freelancers don’t own the number

One person does ads, another does email, nobody owns what happens between the click and the order.

03

The founder does everything

Product, ops, customer service and marketing. Growth work happens late at night, and inconsistently.

04

Guessing what to test

Without a playbook, every week starts from a blank page. Good ideas don’t get tested; bad ones run too long.

05

Creative runs dry

Three ads carry the account until they fatigue, and there’s no pipeline behind them.

06

No source of truth

Platform dashboards and the store disagree, so budget follows the wrong channel.

You don’t need to hand your brand to an agency. You need the agency’s thinking, in your hands.

The program

Guidance and community. One loop.

Senior guidance tells you what to do next. The community shows you what’s working for brands like yours right now. Together they replace guesswork with a plan.

Part 01

Agency-level guidance

The strategy and reviews of a full growth team, without the retainer.

  • A growth plan for your brandWe start with an audit of your offer, store, ads and email, and leave you with a plan in the order it should happen.
  • The playbooks we use with clientsThe same frameworks behind our done-for-you work: offers, creative briefs, page structure, email flows and testing.
  • Reviews from senior operatorsSend your ads, pages and flows. The people who run our client accounts tell you what to keep, fix and test next.
  • Measurement you can trustTracking set up properly and a simple dashboard, so decisions come from orders, not platform guesses.
Part 02

A founder community

Grow alongside brands at your stage, not alone at midnight.

  • A cohort of foundersBrands at your stage working through the same playbooks, sharing what worked this month and what didn’t.
  • Shared benchmarksReal numbers from brands like yours, so you know whether your conversion rate or CAC is the problem.
  • Creative and page reviews, in the openSee other brands’ work reviewed, and learn twice as fast from feedback you didn’t have to wait for.
  • The Shasta networkFormulators, practitioners and makers in the circle, for the questions that aren’t about marketing.

Two ways to work with us

Done for you, or done with you.

Same team, same playbooks, same measurement. The difference is who does the work, and what it costs.

The path

Four stages, in the order that compounds.

Most brands try to scale traffic before the offer and pages can hold it. The program works through growth in the order it pays back.

Stage 1Foundations

Offer, positioning, tracking and a product page that converts.

Stage 2Acquisition

A creative pipeline and the first paid channel, set up to test.

Stage 3Conversion and retention

Page tests, email and SMS flows, reviews and a reason to reorder.

Stage 4Scale

More channels, more creative, and a forecast you can plan against. Or hand it to our team.

The Shasta difference

Growth that holds up when a customer checks.

A lot of DTC growth runs on claims that outrun the product. It works until the reviews, the returns or the regulators catch up.

The program holds your marketing to the same standard as the Shasta shelf: say what the product does, at the strength the evidence supports, and make that the reason people buy.

Honest marketing, done well, is the kind that keeps selling.

How it works

Start with an audit. Then a monthly loop.

The same loop our done-for-you clients run, with your team at the wheel.

1

Apply

Take the Shelf Check and tell us where the brand is: sales, channels, team and the main bottleneck.

2

Audit and plan

We review your offer, store, ads and email, and hand you a plan in the order it should happen.

3

Monthly loop

Work through the plan with playbooks, operator reviews of your ads and pages, and the founder cohort.

4

Grow, or hand it over

Keep running it yourself with us behind you, or move to done-for-you Growth Marketing when you’re ready to scale.

Questions

Straight answers.

Make health, wellness or lifestyle goods? Sell on Shasta →

How is this different from hiring an agency?

An agency does the work for you. The program gives you the same strategy, playbooks and senior reviews, and your team does the work with us behind you. It costs a fraction as much, and what you build stays with you.

What does it cost?

A fraction of a full-service agency retainer. Pricing depends on your stage and is shared once we know where the brand is.

Is there an ad spend minimum?

No. The program is built for brands before and after they’re ready to spend heavily on ads. Our done-for-you service is the one with a spend minimum.

Do I have to sell on Shasta?

No. The program is open to DTC brands whether or not they’re on the Shasta shelf. If you make health, wellness or lifestyle goods, you can also apply to sell.

Will you write claims for my products?

Not claims that outrun the evidence. Marketing held to the Shasta standard builds trust that lasts, and it keeps you on the right side of the rules.

Can we move to done-for-you later?

Yes. Many brands start in the program and move to Growth Marketing when they’re ready to scale. The plan and measurement carry straight over.

Agency thinking, in your hands.
